« I was born in Trentino, whose majestic cathedrals of the Earth, the Dolomites, have always encouraged me, as a child, to know their natural wonders, as well as to exceed their boundaries to discover what lurked beyond the small world that they guarded. Hence, the love for travelling pushed me to attend the High School of Languages in Trento, where I could learn English and Spanish and participating in study abroad experiences.

Meanwhile, I started to find interest in the study of art history, and I thus obtained a bachelor degree from the School of Arts, Music and Performing Arts (DAMS) of the University of Bologna. After winning a scholarship for one year through the Erasmus program at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona, I obtained the qualification as a secondary school teacher, and did an internship at Liceo Classico in Modena. My nature also led me to learn Oriental art and culture through a trip to Tibet, in contact with the local population: thanks to this journey, I directly approached a culture that so fascinates me.

I am currently a teacher of Modern Art at the fine arts academy LABA Torbole, and I have been teaching History of Art at the International High School of Rovereto for eight years. Previously, I also worked as a guide at the MART museum of Rovereto, as an adult educator for evening classes in some public schools in Trentino, and as a volunteer at a local cultural association, where I organized artistic events and art exhibitions. In order to teach History of Art in English in middle and high schools, I also attended a methodology course of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) in Exeter, UK.

I am also the creator and editor of a blog dedicated to the arts, ARt blobs.

I will be happy to share with Dolomit students what my country has to offer: I am sure that Italy will amaze them with its cultural richness and simplicity. »
