The first edition of the summer school that Dolomit organizes with BCA Study Abroad came to an end!

We were lucky enough to have three fantastic students who came to Trentino from different parts of the United States. This brand-new project centered on Manola’s “Sustainability, Food and Landscapes in the Italian Alps,” a 3-week interdisciplinary course that introduces students to the major cultural, socio-economic and environmental implications of what we eat, and uses our Alpine region as a case study. Before delving into this crucial topic, students embarked with Juri in a 1-week class that introduced them to the geography and history of the area, and to the basics of the Italian language.

We are grateful to BCA Study Abroad for trusting Dolomit with the planning and implementation of this program. The month that we spent with Acadia, Alex, and James exploring Lake Garda, the Brenta Dolomites, and the cities of Trento, Rovereto and Bolzano has been one of the most instructive and enjoyable since we created Dolomit.
